Bartender's Notes

The Moscow Mule was born in 1941 at the Cock 'n' Bull pub in Hollywood as a marketing solution to move slow-selling vodka and house-made ginger beer. The iconic copper mug became its signature vessel, providing excellent temperature retention and a distinctive presentation.

Despite its simplicity, the Moscow Mule offers endless variations. Try a Kentucky Mule (bourbon), Mexican Mule (tequila), or London Mule (gin) to explore how different spirits interact with the spicy ginger foundation.
